Church Forum

The St John’s Church Forum takes place during the morning service. If there are any items you would like to raise, please speak to Penny or the churchwardens.

Tonight’s evensong will be fully choral as we celebrate Candlemas.

Cathedral Visit

Saturday 11 February at 5.15pm at Llandaff Cathedral

The choir of St Peter, Caversham are singing evensong at the Cathedral of Llandaff, Cardiff. All members of all congregations would be welcome to support. There will be a coach leaving St Peter’s church at about midday (Adults £16; children £6). If you are interested please see a member of the choir or contact Ian Westley as soon as possible.

Church Forum

The St Peter’s Church Forum follows the morning service. If there are issues you would like to be discussed at the forum, please talk to the churchwardens.

Organ Recital by Christopher Cipkin

Saturday 18 February at 4pm at St Peters

Another chance to hear a recital on the wonderful new organ at St Peter’s Church. Christopher Cipkin presents a selection of music inspired by the Town Hall organ tradition.

From an age when regular solo recitals were a popular feature of cultural life this recital will feature a selection of pieces arranged specifically for the organ and designed to demonstrate the skills of the organist and the capabilities of the organ.

Parish Spring Social

Saturday 18 March at 2.30pm at St Johns

A great opportunity to meet and have some fun with a beetle drive, quiz and raffle. Afternoon tea and cake will be served. Tickets (in advance only, numbers are limited) cost £5 adults, £3 children, £20 for a family (2+2) and are on sale in each church.
