Forthcoming Events

The Parish Calendar lists the services and events at all three churches.

Thy Kingdom Come

Thursday 25 May to Sunday 4 June at all three churches

CofE_Thy_Kingdom_Come_LogoBe part of a ‘global wave of prayer’ between Ascension Day and Pentecost. Our archbishops are encouraging Christians around the world to pray for their communities and for five people they know who don’t yet know Jesus. During these ten days our three churches will each have prayer stations based on the Lord’s Prayer.

At St Peters there will be a short prayer time at midday from Monday 29 May to Friday 2 June followed by a bring-your-own lunch, and prayer time on Saturday 3 June from 2-4pm based on the prayer stations and/or a ‘prayer walk’.

At St Johns we will pray 3-5pm on Sunday 28 May, and prayer-walk on Friday 2 June 10-11am.

St Margarets will be open as usual in the daytime.

There will also be a leaflet for you to use at home. More details and resources can be found at
