St John, Caversham
On Saturday 20 January, we welcomed Revd Polly Falconer to St John’s to run the Racial Bias and Inclusion Workshop. Through quizzes and questionnaires Polly helped us think about issues of race, gender, sexuality, weight and age, and shared movingly from her own experiences of racism and non acceptance. She also asked us to think about the ‘miracle question’. If there could be a miracle overnight, how would you want your church or your own life to be different tomorrow? How would you answer that question?
