He prayed:
Almighty God, bless this church community. May this community be a place of outreach and welcome, of sharing the good news, ambassadors of your all embracing love, a place of catechesis for a thirsty people seeking fullness of life. May all those who cross the threshold of Your house come to know your love, your salvation and peace. Amen.
