St Peter, Caversham
After many months pursuing the necessary permits, St Peters is pleased to confirm that we will be replacing the roof overlooking the churchyard path in early November.
This will require closing the pathway for two or three weeks. The church will lay a temporary path through the churchyard as an alternative route for residents.
The roofing contractor will also take over the parking area on the Warren to the south of the pathway, to be used as a laydown area for tile deliveries and for a skip for waste tiles.
The church will be closed on weekdays but should be open at the weekend.
We apologise for the inevitable inconvenience that this will cause, and thank you for your understanding.
The church is appealing for donations to help fund the works.
