Two of the roofs at St Peter Caversham need work: the vestry roof has become distorted, and the roof above the south aisle has reached the end of its useful life.
We’ve installed snow guards above the south aisle to protect the public from falling roof tiles. The next step is to raise the substantial amounts of money needed to do the work.
We are investigating various sources of income, including finance grants and special events such as the Summer Fair on 4 July. If you can help with these, we would be delighted to hear from you.
If you would like to make a donation towards the appeal, you could make a direct bank transfer to the appeal account. The account is named “St Peters Church Caversham Appeal a/c” and has sort code 20-71-03 and number 10998745.
