Coronavirus guidance

Our three churches are following the Government and Church of England guidance:There will be no worship or any church event in any of our churches. The Parish Electoral Roll is open for revision from Sunday 23 February until Saturday 14 March 2020. Forms are available in all churches or can be downloaded from here. Altar rail kneelers at St Johns

A cause for celebration! Many years ago, when Stephen and Christine Rowe were ministers at St John’s, a project was begun to create some embroidered kneelers for the altar rail step that reflected the beauty and character of Caversham and honoured the Lord’s goodness to us. For various reasons the project stalled, but in Febuary 2018 St John’s Church Leadership Team decided the project should be completed. Autumn Ramble

Mary Westley writes:The Autumn Ramble took place in glorious sunshine with the autumnal tints at their best. We began by walking through the 2nd World War memorial gates at St Margaret's and continued along the path to Hardwick, where we turned upwards through the woods to look at the old remains of a lime kiln before wending our way through the trees to the stunning vista which opens out at the the top of the hill.
